Green Day on Live Earth Concert?
Ex-Vice President Al Gore revealed plans for Live Earth - the Concert for a Climate in Crisis, a series of seven concerts set to take place across the globe July 7. More then 100 music artists will perform live in US, China, UK, Brazil, Antarctica, South Africa, Japan and Australia.
The first 25 confirmed performers include the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bon Jovi, John Mayer, Fall Out Boy, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, Foo Fighters, Snoop Dogg, Lenny Kravitz, Duran Duran, Snow Patrol, John Legend, the Black Eyed Keas, Akon, Enrique Iglesias, Mana, Keane, Kelly Clarkson, Korn, AFI, Paolo Nutini, Bloc Party, Damien Rice, Corinne Bailey Rae and Melissa Etheridge, among others. 75 more are expected to be announced.
There are some rumors that Green Day could be one of the artists to be announced soon. More information about the concerts can be found for example on Live Earth Concerts. I hope we will find out more informationĀ in next few weeks.
